elbow macaroni
1-2 lbs hamburger
garlic cloves, whole
Onion, roughly chopped (larger sized-not diced)
mushrooms
green peppers
salt
pepper
garlic powder
basil
oregano
Cook the elbow macaroni according to package instructions
Add oil to pan. Add hamburger and garlic pieces and brown
When hamburger is still somewhat pink, add onions, mushrooms, and green peppers, and continue frying.
Don't drain the hamburg mix -- The flavor is in the juices.
Pour in a can of whole tomatoes after the hamburger is browned. Break them up while they are cooking.
When macaroni is done, drain it well and add macaroni to the hamburger mix.
Cover the pan and let everything simmer for 15-20 minutes. Season with salt, pepper, and Italian spices--garlic, basil, some oregano.
Try adding additional veggies, such as zucchini and yellow squash
